DIY Colorful Cactus Pot

Want to add more color & life to your home or office?  This simple diy colorful cactus pot will do the trick! Simply paint any size pot the color of your choice (you could also add fun patterns too) then, plant your cactus! Add a touch a whimsy by placing colorful glitter mini pom poms on the cactus pricks. Stuff You'll Need: - a terracotta pot + saucer (I used a small one) -  patio/ outdoor paint (I got mine from Michaels in Blue Bahama) - paint brush - cactus of your choice (Home Depot) - colorful mini pom poms (optional) Live colorfully!

DIY Watermelon Cupcake Toppers

These adorable diy watermelon cupcake toppers are perfect for your summer soiree, watermelon-themed party or just about any party! You can make & frost your own cupcakes (I made funfetti ones) or use store-bought ones. Stuff You'll Need: - 2.25" round cookie cutter - white fondant - icing colors in green, pink & black - toothpicks *not pictured* - rolling pin & mat - knife - small pastry brush & water Let's Play! 1. Divide fondant into 3 medium size balls, then use icing colors to make green, pink and black fondant. 2. Take the green fondant and roll out with rolling pin. Next, roll out the pink fondant.  3. Using your round cookie cutter, cut out circles from the green & pink fondant.  4. With your knife, cut circles in half.  Place pink fondant pieces on top of green pieces, brushing with a little water to attach.  5. Use pinch-size pieces of the black fondant to make seeds. Coconut Macaroons Drizzled w/ Dark Chocolate

So sweet and chewy, these homemade coconut macaroons are so delicious and so simple to make. They're the perfect Easter treat! Coconut Macaroons Drizzled w/ Dark Chocolate  4 egg whites 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 14 ounces sweetened shredded coconut Dark chocolate (I used Ghiradelli's Dark Melting Wafers) 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets w/ parchment paper. 2. In a stand mixer, beat egg whites and sugar on medium-high until foamy- about 2 minutes. Fold in coconut. 3. Using a cookie scoop, drop batter onto baking sheets- 2 inches a part. 4. Bake for 20 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Cool completely before drizzling with melted dark chocolate. Mmmmmm!

DIY Eggshell Flower Arrangements

Wow your Easter brunch or dinner guests with these simple eggshell flower arrangements. Use them as a centerpiece or as individual place settings.  Stuff You'll Need: - eggs - fresh flowers (small varieties work best) - sharpie markers (black & red) Let's Play! 1. Gently crack tops of eggs and empty contents. Rinse with water.  2. Draw cute faces on eggs. (optional) 3. Fill with water & flowers.  (You can also insert a small piece of wet floral foam depending on what flowers you'll use.)
